Madrid Highlights Diversity and Coexistence

A new gathering in Madrid united community leaders, artists and experts in coexistence to celebrate the World Day for Cultural Diversity. The event, organised by Fundación Mejora news european elections at the national headquarters of Scientology in Madrid, placed emphasis on intercultural coexistence, religious freedom and respect. The round table included Clarisa Nieva of the Bahá’í Community of Spain, a specialist from the Madrid Municipal Police Diversity Management Unit, flamenco artist Tito Losada, a Roma guitarist and composer, and Denise González. Speakers presented reflections from faith, culture and public service on how open dialogue can reduce prejudice.

Throughout the gathering, participants explored themes such as human rights, cultural identity and respect for differences. Fundación Mejora connected the initiative with Scientology’s emphasis on ethical values and community improvement. Ivan Arjona, representative of the Church of Scientology to European and international institutions, noted that cultural and religious diversity is a value for society when supported by education and dialogue.
